“Am Back Into The Music Industry For Good” – Kyn Citi

Kyn Citi is a fast rising Tarkwa based circular music artiste known in real life as Adrian Ackon. He is a native of Tarkwa, a major suburb in the Western Region of Ghana.

He is the third amongst five siblings of his parents Mr. Martin Kofi Ackon and Miss. Alberta Colerangle.

He has lived in the Sekondi-Takoradi-Tarkwa areas almost all his life time. He took his elementary education at the Roman Catholic Boys Primary School, Junior High School at Catholic.

“A” J.S.S all at Tarkwa and an N.V.T.I certificate from an institute in Takoradi.

As little as fifteen years Kyn discovered his passion. ” I started 1999 Dynamite talent show at Tarkwa and made it to the finals at Astoria Nite club “. I’m yet to believe that artistry is a genetic material since his father happens to be a veteran gospel artiste. But Kyn is a Hiplife cum Afro-pop artiste.

He also entered the Melody Rap Competitions at Takoradi where he gave tough competions to the other competitors.

He has had the chance to perform alongside star atistes on remarkable platforms like; Goldfield Jr Staff – Club house, Longji International hotel – Tarkwa, on Love’s Show, Vienna Beach – Takoradi.

” I perfomed at Longji International hotel, Tarkwa with Bisa Kdei and at Goldfields Jnr staff Club house and with Sarkordie on One Love’s Show, Vienna Beach, Tako-radi . . … ” Kyn categorically stated. He has also had perfo-mances with Ruff n Smooth at the Goldfields Club house, at December-to-Remember with Okonfo Kwadee as well the Tema-based R2bees at Tarkwa.

The out-spoken artiste has also revealed that, the industry is full of corruption. Djs are only after payola; even if you have a good song, you still have to pay them to get it played on air.
