I Don’t Just Release Songs, I Seek The Face Of God First – Empress Gifty

Ghanaian award-winning Gospel Artiste, Empress Gifty, has explained that her songs are doing well and making great impact because before she releases them, she seeks the face of God.

According to her, she also believes in the timing of God to release songs, saying God’s timing is always the best.

She made the comments following the release of her new single, titled ‘Awiey3 Pa’ (Expected End).

Barely three weeks ago, Empress Gifty released a new song titled ‘Awiey3 Pa’ (Expected End) and according to her, the song was doing very well.

Speaking with Roman Fada on Atinka Drive, Empress Gifty said,”I think it is the season. It is the time; I am one person, that when I want to release a song, I seek the face of the Lord, I don’t just release it. Before I release a song, I seek the face of the Lord so when I bring it out, I do not struggle. God does all the work for me.”

Unlike other musicians who find it difficult to acknowledge those who support them to release great music, she said ‘Awiey3 Pa’ was written for her by fellow Gospel Musician, Ewurabena.

The bubbly Gospel musician explained that after releasing the song, the Writer called her to thank her for putting herself in the project, saying that this was the first time someone appreciated her for doing something for her.

Empress Gifty said she related well with the song because she has her testimony in it.

Although she recorded it earlier this year, she believed in God’s timing to release ‘Awiey3 Pa’.

She said when she had the green light from God, she posted the artwork which went very far even beyond her expectations.

“This project was not just Empress, you could see that God’s hands were in it. The time was right for me,” she said.

Meanwhile, she feels blessed for the recognition by her friend and for the fact that someone believed in her and believed that if she did the song it would make great impact.

“I am inspired by a lot of things in the song. It encourages me that God can do it, it encourages me to know that God’s timing is the best for me, maybe my own timing wouldn’t be good, God’s timing can make me prosper and the prosperity will be forever.

She also said her popular Jargon like ‘Noko Fine’, ‘Noko Focus’ were all given to her by God, explaining that each year, she asks God what she should carry to the people and God gives her those ideas.

Empress Gifty encouraged all to seek the face of God in whatever they desire to have and have faith that God in his perfect time, he will do it for them.
