Tarkwa Media Association To Host ‘Walk For Life’ Health Walk On July 1

All is set and ready for the 2023 edition of Tarkwa Media Association Annual Health Walk where hundreds of patrons are expected to join the tarkwa presenters to keep fit.

The walk is dubbed ‘Walk for life’ and it will start from the Nsuta junction (traffic light), through to the estate stretch, hotel de hilda, shooters, Nana Angu stretch, Tarkwa Main station, post office, police station, cyanide junction and end at cyanide park in Tarkwa, will come off Saturday, July 1, 2023.

The walk also creates an environment for interactions between listeners and on-air presenters as a way of taking feedbacks to improve the programming of the media space in Tarkwa.

The Chairman of the committee, Mr. Felix Oteng Berkoh said “This health walk is organised to create health awareness, exercise our bodies and also to continue building a good relationship between the media and the general public. It will also be an opportunity for the general public to come closer and ‘possibly’ have a word with their favourite voices behind the microphones (radio) in the municipality”.

The 2023 Tarkwa Media Association (TMA) Health walk is put together in partnership with The Ghana Prisons Service, Police Service and their sister security services, the Municipal Assembly, youth organisations, and fancy groups.

An aerobics with adept instructors after the walk will be undertaken and it will be climaxed with a Health talk by a Seasoned Health Personality.
